For the first time, EAHAD 2027 will feature a dedicated, hands-on workshop focused on musculoskeletal point-of-care ultrasound and the HEAD-US system.
This new educational initiative is designed to give healthcare professionals who are new to musculoskeletal ultrasound the opportunity to develop practical scanning skills in a highly interactive learning environment.
The full-day workshop combines focused lectures, live ultrasound demonstrations, supervised hands-on practice and calibration exercises. Participants will learn how to assess the elbow, knee and ankle, recognise common pathological findings and apply the HEAD-US scoring system using a standardised approach. The workshop is designed around learning by doing.
Participation in the HEAD-US Basic Practical Workshop is open exclusively to participants registered for the EAHAD 2027 Main Congress.
Please ensure that you have completed your Main Congress registration before submitting this application. Places are limited to 20–25 participants.
Applications will be considered based on eligibility and the information provided in the application. Among eligible applicants, places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, while aiming to maintain balanced geographical representation.
